In the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, a neighbor stabbed a 17-year-old teenager because of resentment at the lack of an invitation to a children's holiday. The tragedy occurred in the village of Bareili on October 12.
The incident, reported by The Times of India, began with the celebration of the birthday of a child in the family of Surendra Kumar.
At the party came a neighbor named Vishal intoxicated. Unable to find his name on the guest list, he made a scandal and tried to break into the house.
To calm the man came 17-year-old eldest son of the owner. Witnesses said that before the attack, Vishal insulted Kumar’s family because of their lower caste.
During the scuffle, a drunk neighbor snatched a knife and hit the teenager several times. From the wounds received, the young man died before the arrival of the doctors.
Enraged villagers beat the attacker, locked him in a house and handed him over to the police.
