Overturning of Mitsubishi in Tes-Khem district of Tuva: passenger hospitalized

According to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Republic of Tyva, a serious accident occurred in the Tes-Khemsky district of the Republic of Tyva: on the 134th km of the Kyzyl-Erzin highway, the Mitsubishi L-200 car rolled off the roadway and capsized. The accident happened on October 16 at 10:05. The driver was a 62-year-old man, who, according to preliminary estimates, could not cope with the management. As a result of the incident, a 56-year-old passenger was injured - she was taken to a medical institution. In total, 9 accidents and 207 traffic violations were recorded on the roads of Tuva. Traffic police officers detained 8 drunk drivers and 31 drivers without rights or deprived of the right to drive; in one case, the materials may form the basis of a criminal case (Article 264.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).

Auto inspectors strongly recommend not to postpone the transition to winter tires: in low temperatures and precipitation, summer tires do not provide the necessary traction with the road.
