In France, a Volotea flight from Toulouse to Caen gave a distress call and changed the route

In France, a Volotea plane flying from Toulouse to Caen gave a distress call and changed its route. This is evidenced by the flight tracking service Flightradar24.
The plane took off on the morning of October 15. During the flight, the crew turned on the emergency code 7700, after which the plane headed for the French city of Limoges.
This code is used in various emergencies on board. It does not necessarily mean a threat of disaster and does not in itself allow us to determine the cause of the incident.
According to users tracking the flight on Flightradar24, the plane landed safely in Limoges. At the same time, there are no official comments on the reasons for the distress signal and the change of the route.
