Before the mysterious death of a man could become a participant in a tragic attack

New Zealand police found that shortly before the death of 40-year-old Dunedin resident David Noah between him and a person of interest to the investigation, the conflict was growing. Forensic research has revealed damage that may have occurred during the attack, but to establish the cause of death has not yet failed.

Noah was found unconscious on Leckhampton Court on the evening of September 30. Emergency services received a call around 23:00. The man tried to resuscitate, but soon he was pronounced dead. Police initially asked eyewitnesses to report suspicious activity in the area and provide recordings of cameras and DVRs.

By October 24, investigators had recovered some of Noah's last movements. According to Criminal Police Senior Sergeant Hayden Smale, the man left the house and soon arrived at Leckhampton Court. Around this time, a witness heard two men arguing. Police suspect Noah was one of them and are trying to identify the other.

Investigators believe it is likely that Noah was involved in the collision just before his death. However, the case is still designated as an investigation of death under unexplained circumstances.

Police continue to question the deceased's friends. Smale said investigators believe some people are withholding information or deliberately giving false information about what happened that night. He urged them to tell what they know, stressing that Noah's family is waiting for answers.
