Peruvian singer hit an elderly Russian

Peruvian singer Ivan Villacorta hit an elderly citizen of Russia in the city of Trujillo. The victim was hospitalized, reports radio station RPP.

According to radio, after a traffic accident, the singer was detained. As a result of the accident, one person was injured – a 77-year-old Russian. There is no threat to his life, the man is being treated in a private clinic, media reported.

On social media, the musician apologized for what happened. He also said he would pay for all medical expenses for the victim.

Police are still investigating the circumstances of the incident. Eyewitnesses suggest that Villacorta was drunk driving.
