Plastic surgeon was under investigation in Kamchatka

Investigators detained the 66-year-old head of the department, a plastic surgeon of the Elizov district hospital. This was reported in the SU SK on the Kamchatka Territory.

He was charged with fraud on an especially large scale. According to investigators, from February 2024 to October 2026, he deceived patients.

Using the premises, equipment and staff of the hospital, the doctor called the inflated cost of mammoplasty operations. He persuaded patients to pay their business.

From six patients, he received at least 1,640,000 rubles. According to the documents of the hospital, only 410,000 were issued for payment. The difference of at least 1,230 000 rubles, he turned in his favor.

Searches were carried out, documents were seized. The question of the measure of restraint is being decided.
