Almost 800 liters of illegal alcohol seized in Sochi in a week

In Sochi, law enforcement officers identified large consignments of alcohol transported and sold with violations. The total volume of alcohol seized for the week was about 800 liters.

One of the cases occurred at the post of Magri. Police stopped the Lada car, the trunk of which was filled with containers of homemade wine. During the inspection, about 300 liters of drink were found. In respect of the driver, an administrative protocol was drawn up for illegal transportation of alcohol.

About 500 liters of alcohol law enforcement officers seized in retail outlets of the resort. The sellers were brought to administrative responsibility for violations of trade rules.

Thus, in one week, about 800 liters of alcohol products were withdrawn from illegal trafficking. Checks are aimed at identifying violations during the transportation and sale of alcohol.

Earlier it was reported that the Prosecutor’s office of Sochi will hold a reception of participants of the SVO and their families.
