Near Kursk, the driver of KAMAZ hit a man to death and tried to escape

In Fatezh district there was a fatal accident, the perpetrator of which left the scene of the accident.

According to the local duty unit of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the signal about the incident arrived in the morning, at about 09:08. Eyewitnesses reported that on the 463-th kilometer of the highway M2 “Crimea” near the village of Golovinka on the roadside lies the body of a man with no signs of life.

During the operational activities, the law enforcement officers found out the circumstances of the tragedy. It was found that a pedestrian, a man born in 1960, was hit by a KAMAZ truck. After the collision, the driver of the heavy truck did not stop and left the scene of the accident.

However, traffic police officers quickly identified the suspect and detained him.

A check is currently being made into what happened. Law enforcement officers continue to find out all the details and causes of the traffic accident, the regional department of the traffic police said.
