On the night of October 23, on the federal highway R-254 "Irtysh" there was a head-on collision of two foreign cars. The cause of the monstrous blow, according to preliminary data, was the fatigue of one of the drivers.
The dramatic events unfolded around 02:10 a.m. A 28-year-old man driving a Kia K5 kept his way from Omsk. On the 1386th kilometer of the power track, he allegedly fell asleep at the wheel. The passenger who lost control moved to the left and went to the oncoming traffic lane. On this section of the track, overtaking and oncoming are allowed by the rules, but at this moment, from the darkness towards Kia, a Toyota car was moving at full speed under the control of a 47-year-old driver.
As a result of the collision, a woman who was in the Toyota cabin (looking about 40 years old) received injuries incompatible with life, and died at the scene.
At the scene of the tragedy worked the traffic police and investigative group of police.
