The teenager is accused of stealing a bicycle for 19 thousand in Chaplygin

In Chaplygin, police identified a suspect in the theft of an expensive bicycle. He was a 17-year-old local teenager.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation in the Lipetsk region, a 52-year-old woman applied for the theft of a two-wheeled vehicle from the entrance of an apartment building on Sovetskaya Street. The bike belongs to her underage son. The amount of damage amounted to 19 thousand rubles.

Criminal investigation officers detained the suspect. It is established that the teenager saw a bicycle and decided to ride it, and then took it.

Now the lover of other people’s things faces up to a maximum of five years in prison – a criminal case was opened against him. The bike was returned to its original owner.
