Train “Orlan” crashed into the car in the Volga: killed a woman

The evening of October 24 at the railway ferry “Furmanov – Volgorechensk” turned into a tragedy for the family of “Reno Sandero”. At the move to Volzhsk, the high-speed Orlan train, en route from Ivanov to Volgorechensk, rammed a passenger car.

From a powerful blow, a 47-year-old passenger of a foreign car died on the spot. The fate of the driver and the 14-year-old teenager was different: they were removed from the deformed cabin with serious injuries. The boy was taken by sanitary aviation to the children's regional clinical hospital Ivanovo, where he receives all the necessary assistance. The tragedy once again raises the issue of safety at railway crossings. A collision with a multi-ton composition that develops high speed, a passenger car cannot resist.
