Pogrom of four cars in Matyrsk turned for the spouses from Lipetsk payment of 124 thousand rubles

Residents of the Lipetsk village of Matyrsky failed to challenge the decision to pay 124 thousand rubles to the owner of the damaged car. The Lipetsk Regional Court considered their complaint and found no grounds to overturn the district court’s decision.

According to the joint press service of the region, the story took place on June 11, 2023. Near the garage were parked four cars, which, according to the materials of the case, damaged the couple. An eyewitness video shows a woman striking cars with a metal bucket and a man using a bat.

The defendants insisted that it is impossible to recover money from them: the criminal case on the fact of intentional damage to property was discontinued due to the expiration of the statute of limitations, and there was no guilty verdict of the court.

However, when considering the civil claim, the court questioned witnesses and examined the video. This evidence confirmed the couple's involvement in damage to cars, including the plaintiff's car. As a result, the decision on joint and several recovery of damage remained in force.
