Buying a phone through the Internet turned out to be a loss of money for the tveri

Tverityanka appealed to the police, a criminal case was initiated under the article “Fraud”, told the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Tver region.

The woman signed up for the telegram community, where she was attracted by an ad for selling phones at an enticing price. She wrote to the group that she wanted to buy the device.

After discussing with an unknown interlocutor the cost of the phone and the terms of sending, the woman transferred the money to the electronic wallet of the unknown. She was promised to send an order the next day, but the interlocutor said that allegedly does not have time to do it, and the phone will be sent the next morning.

The order was never sent a day later. The woman demanded to return the money, but the seller has not yet done so, the department noted. Suspecting fraud, the woman went to the police.
