Popular actress threw human remains and beat a police officer

Popular actress Charlotte Ayanna threw cremated human remains around the house and threatened to kill another person. After that, the actress, known for the film “Training day”, was detained in West Hollywood, reports TMZ.

According to law enforcement agencies, the police arrived on call on October 8. However, the situation escalated into conflict. The alleged victim said Ayanna threatened her with murder and beat her.

During the proceedings, the actress allegedly kicked a deputy sheriff. She was eventually detained.

Prosecutors charged Ayanna with three counts, including beatings, ill-treatment of an elderly or dependent adult and assault on a police officer.

The actress herself denied the allegations. Speaking to TMZ, she called the detention illegal and said she had not been explained her rights or questioned.

Who owned the cremated remains and under what circumstances they were in the house, the publication TMZ did not specify. Ayanna remains in custody, the amount of bail is 50 thousand dollars.

The actress starred in the film “Training Day” with Denzel Washington, as well as in the films “The Bitterness of Love” and “Kate and Leo”. In 1993, she won the Miss Teen USA beauty pageant.
