There are details about the outbreak of rotavirus in kindergarten in Barnaul

The outbreak of rotavirus infection occurred in kindergarten No. 251 in Barnaul. Symptoms of malaise were identified in nine pupils of the senior preschool group. This was reported in the regional management center.

All sick children are treated at home. According to the Ministry of Health of the Altai Territory, appeals to medical institutions from them have not been recorded. The group in which the outbreak occurred is closed for quarantine.

The situation was taken under control by the supervisory authorities. On October 19, specialists from Rospotrebnadzor and the Leninsky District Prosecutor’s Office will conduct a comprehensive inspection. The district prosecutor Oleg Kolenko has already organized an inspection of compliance with sanitary and epidemiological legislation.

The SDGs noted that there were no violations in food supply and cooking technologies on the eve of the outbreak. In kindergarten, there is a three-stage control of nutrition. The quality of products is checked by the procurement commission, grass-roots control works on the food block, and before distribution, the marriage commission removes a sample from each dish.

As a result of the inspection, the causes and conditions of the incident will be established. If there are grounds, the prosecutor's office will take response measures. Earlier it was reported that according to preliminary data, the infection caught ten people.
