The Prosecutor’s office monitors the rights of passengers during flight delays in Kurumoche

On October 23, the work of Samara Kurumoch airport underwent a significant adjustment. The reason for such measures was the restrictions on the reception and release of aircraft in the capital airports Sheremetyevo, Vnukovo, Domodedovo and Zhukovsky. The reason for the blocking was the announced threat of an attack by unmanned vehicles.

Due to the current situation, aviation companies were forced to radically change the flight schedule. Departures and arrivals were postponed to evening and night, affecting not only Moscow destinations, but also flights to Perm, Tyumen, Kazan and Mineralnye Vody. Passengers had to expect significant delays along the way.

The Volga Transport Prosecutor's Office took the situation under strict supervision. The agency oversees airline compliance with federal regulations requiring airlines to provide soft drinks when waiting for more than two hours, hot meals after four hours, and hotel accommodation when delayed more than eight hours during the day or six hours at night.
