The Prosecutor’s office controls the establishment of the causes of the fire at the plant in Tomsk

The Prosecutor’s office of the Tomsk region put on control the clarification of the circumstances of a large fire at the plant for the production of oriented chipboards. This was reported in the press service of the department.

The fire occurred on October 14, 2026 in the drying shop of the enterprise on the Kuzovlevsky tract, 8/1. Prosecutor Sergei Lomakin took the situation under personal control. If there are grounds, prosecutorial response measures will be taken.

Earlier it was reported that the plant caught fire equipment. The area of the fire was one thousand square meters. According to preliminary data of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the region, there were no people at the time of the fire at the enterprise.
