Prosecutors demand from the perpetrators of forest fires in the Krasnoyarsk region 1.5 million
Krasnoyarsk environmental prosecutor's office conducted inspections after mass fires on the lands of the state forest fund
It turned out that in five cases, the owners of areas bordering the forest, before the beginning of the fire-hazardous period, did not clean the territory and did not equip the one-and-a-half-meter mineralized strip laid by law. Another fire was caused by careless handling of fire - the owner burned garbage in the wind 13 meters per second and did not stop.
In Rybinsk, Irbeysk, Novoselovsk, Emelyanovsk, Aban and Tin forestry burned 44 hectares of forest. The extinguishment cost the budget more than 1.5 million rubles.
The perpetrators were prosecuted for violating fire safety rules in the forests - fines amounted to 220 thousand rubles. However, these amounts do not cover budgetary costs, so the prosecutor’s office appealed to the court with claims. Some of the damage has already been repaired, the rest is under control.
