The Prosecutor’s office has eliminated the legal gap in the field of veterinary medicine in the Zaporizhia region

Melitopol Interdistrict Environmental Prosecutor's Office conducted an analysis of the regulatory framework of the Zaporizhzhia region in the field of veterinary medicine.

During the inspection, it turned out that the veterinary department of the region did not approve the administrative regulations for the service “Registration of veterinary specialists engaged in entrepreneurial activities in the Zaporizhzhia region”.

The lack of regulations created legal uncertainty: administrative procedures and deadlines for the provision of services were not fixed. This created administrative barriers for entrepreneurs and reduced trust in the authorities.

Following the audit, the environmental prosecutor made a submission to the acting head of the veterinary department - the document was reviewed and satisfied. As a result, the administrative regulations were approved. This made it possible to establish uniform rules for the provision of services, eliminate legal uncertainty, reduce administrative barriers and increase the transparency of the procedure.
