The Prosecutor’s office took control of the case of an accident with three dead in Ryazan

On behalf of the Prosecutor of the Ryazan region Dmitry Kodanev, the investigation of the criminal case on the fact of the accident three dead put under control in the supervisory authority. This is reported by the press service of the regional prosecutor's office.

The tragedy occurred on the evening of October 23 at the intersection of Tsiolkovsky Street and Yablochkov Passage. A truck driven by a drunk driver rammed a Suzuki passenger car.

As a result of the collision, three people died, two more were taken to a medical facility with injuries.

On the fact of the incident, the investigating authorities opened a criminal case under paragraph "a" of part 6 of Article 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (violation of traffic rules, which resulted in the death of two or more persons by negligence, committed in a state of intoxication). Driver arrested.
