The Prosecutor’s office forced the administration of the Nei district to pay the contractor 2.7 million rubles

The conflict between the administration of the city of Ney and the contractor repairing the water supply ended in a victory for the commercial firm.

The organization completed a major overhaul of the water supply system in September 2025, but the municipality was in no hurry to transfer 2.7 million rubles.

The situation was resolved only after a personal reception with the regional prosecutor Ekaterina Bannikova, where the head of the company applied. An administrative case has been initiated against the official who made the delay. Under pressure from the prosecutor's office, the budget was paid.
