For repeated driving in a state of intoxication, a man in the Tver region confiscated a car.

According to the regional prosecutor's office, in June 2026, on the 168th kilometer of the federal highway M-10 "Russia" in the Kalinin municipal district, police officers stopped a car driven by a 37-year-old man in a state of alcoholic intoxication, who had previously been brought to administrative responsibility for the same violation.

The court found the defendant guilty of the incriminated crime and imposed a fine of 200 thousand rubles with deprivation of rights for 2 years.

The car of the convicted “Kia Optima” was confiscated to the state.
