Five children among 28 evacuees in high-rise fire

This morning, firefighters eliminated the fire in a multi-storey building in Nizhny Novgorod on the street 40 years of Victory.

According to the emergency services, the fire covered 23 square meters of property in one of the apartments. From the smoke zone rescuers took 28 people, including 5 children. According to the Agency, as a result of the incident, no one was injured, no dead.

According to the preliminary version of experts, the cause of the fire was the emergency mode of operation of the existing power grid. The circumstances of the incident are being clarified.

Earlier in Voronezh, 2 women were injured in a fire in a high-rise building. For extinguishing involved five departments of fire and rescue units: worked 17 employees and 5 units of special equipment.
