In Astrakhan, during a raid on household service facilities, an illegal migrant who worked as a barbershop master and posed as a Russian citizen was exposed. This is reported by the press service of the MIA in the Astrakhan region.
During the operational-preventive operation "Illegal-2026" police checked one of the popular barbershops. The master said that he is a citizen of the Russian Federation, and the passport allegedly left at home.
To corroborate the words, he cited fictitious personal details and told the story of a document being replaced in his 20s.
Checking on a single electronic database showed that a person with such a surname, name and patronymic does not exist. The attempt to justify the change of name failed: the man did not take into account that such procedures are registered by the registry office.
The real identity of the 25-year-old visitor from the near abroad was established using the biometric system "Papilon Filter".
In respect of a foreigner, protocols were drawn up under two articles of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation. Before the execution of the court decision on forced expulsion, he was placed in the Center for Temporary Detention of Foreign Citizens.
An employer who illegally hired a master will also be prosecuted, the entrepreneur faces a large fine.
