Missile strike sparks major fire at Orel plant

At one of the enterprises in the Soviet district of Orel after a missile strike there was a serious fire. By the morning of October 24, the fire was completely eliminated, the Governor of the Orel region Andrei Klychkov said on October 23.

According to the head of the region, the completion of the extinguishing was reported to him by the head of the regional department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. After the liquidation of the fire, the authorities began preparations for the dismantling of rubble.

In connection with the incident in Orel also held an emergency meeting of the Commission on emergency situations.
