Parents did not allow the child to eat, tied up and tortured in the Russian city

The Leninsky district court of Tula has convicted the couple in the case of torture of a young son. This was reported by the joint press service of the courts of the region.

The investigation found that since May 2025, the parents systematically abused the child. They restricted the boy's food, tied him up and beat him up, and locked him up in the bathroom. Police found a child with his hands tied in a locked bathroom. There were multiple injuries on his body. The boy was placed in a social rehabilitation center.

During the trial, both defendants fully admitted guilt. The man was appointed 6 years and 1 month of a general regime colony. His wife received 6 years of general regime, and must pay a fine of 90 thousand rubles.

The court granted a civil suit filed in the interests of the child. From each of the convicts recovered 250 thousand rubles of compensation for moral damage. The sentence has not yet entered into force.

The child was reported to the police by a relative of the convicted woman. After the arrest of the parents, four more children were removed from the family. All of them were also transferred to the social rehabilitation center under the supervision of specialists.
