Parents strangled their son, quarreling over inheritance

In Novosibirsk, an elderly couple will be tried after the death of their 45-year-old son during a conflict over the inheritance. This was reported by the regional department of the Investigative Committee.

According to investigators, the man drank and quarreled with his parents - 79-year-old father and 69-year-old mother. During the quarrel, he threatened them with violence, and his mother punched him in the face.

The father tried to stop his son by grabbing his hands and holding him for a while. However, pensioners feared that a drunken relative could cause them serious harm, and began to defend themselves. As a result of the conflict, the man died of strangulation.

A criminal case was opened against the parents. Investigators have completed the collection of evidence and transferred the materials to the court, which will consider the circumstances of the incident.
