Russian killed his sister during a quarrel over the garage

In Kislovodsk, a court sentenced a 59-year-old local resident who was found guilty of killing his sister. This was reported on October 20 in the investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia in the Stavropol Territory.

The investigation found that on April 17, 2026, a conflict broke out between the man and his sister. The reason for the quarrel was a dispute over the surveying of the land plot and the location of the garage on it.

During the skirmish, the defendant grabbed a knife and inflicted multiple blows on the body on the 65-year-old woman. The victim died on the spot from his injuries.

During the investigation, the man fully admitted his guilt and repented of what he had done. He was in custody at the request of the investigator during the proceedings.

The court sentenced the Russian to six years in prison. He will serve time in a correctional colony of strict regime. Also, the man is assigned a restriction of freedom for a period of one year after release.
