Russian brutally dealt with his sister to steal jewelry

In Nizhny Novgorod completed the investigation of the criminal case of murder committed more than 15 years ago — in 2011. This is reported by the press service of the GSU IC of Russia.

A 44-year-old man and his 50-year-old sister will face trial. Depending on each person’s role, they are charged with robbery-related murder and its organization.

According to investigators, in 2011, the man organized a robbery attack on his second cousin, knowing that her apartment is stored jewelry, as she lived with a jeweler. He brought his own sister and other persons to the crime.

On April 3, 2011, the attackers broke into the apartment. As a result of blood loss caused by multiple stab wounds to vital organs, the victim died on the spot.

After the murder, the attackers fled, stealing jewelry and other valuables worth more than 2.8 million rubles.

The criminal case was solved as part of systematic work to investigate crimes of past years. The investigation collected sufficient evidence, the criminal case was sent to the court for consideration on the merits.
