47-year-old resident of Kostroma Svetlana Ch

47-year-old resident of Kostroma Svetlana C., who was in a Turkish migration detention center, suffered a stroke and now needs constant help. According to the volunteers, the woman is paralyzed right side of the body, she can not speak and eat on her own. Its future fate remains uncertain.
According to activists, the Russian woman came to Turkey about four years ago. Later, due to health problems and the law, she ended up in a migration detention center, where she allegedly suffered a stroke.
On October 16, the Migration Service asked volunteers to pick up the woman because her relatives had not been in touch. Volunteers took Svetlana to the hospital and paid for the necessary tests, but initially refused to hospitalize her.
After that, the activists tried to get help from the Russian consulate, but, according to them, failed to get support. Due to the serious condition, it is impossible to remove the woman from Turkey. She is now in the neurological department. Volunteers fear that without further medical and social support, the Russian woman may remain in an institution for people with disabilities. The official position of the consulate in the published message is not given.
