Russian woman stabbed to death 16-year-old girl at club

The Investigative Department for the city of Abakan of the SK of Russia for the Krasnoyarsk Territory and the Republic of Khakassia opened a criminal case against a 21-year-old resident of the Ust-Abakan district after the death of a minor at a nightclub.

“On the night of October 16, 2026, a conflict occurred near one of the nightclubs in the city of Abakan between the accused and her 16-year-old friend,” the regional investigation department said. The department said that during the quarrel, the defendant inflicted a fatal stab to the victim with a knife in the chest area, from which the girl died on the spot.

After the crime, the suspect was detained by law enforcement officers. During the interrogation, she fully admitted guilt in what she had done, after which the investigation sent a petition to the court for the election of a preventive measure in the form of detention.

At present, the necessary investigative actions are being carried out in the criminal case. Specialists fix the collected evidence base and appoint a complex of forensic examinations.
