Russian businessman tried to bribe an airport employee

In Chelyabinsk, FSB officers detained an entrepreneur on suspicion of commercial bribery of the head of the airport department. According to investigators, on October 16, the businessman gave the official at least 400 thousand rubles for patronage. This was told in the press service of the FSB in the Chelyabinsk region.

The money was intended for unimpeded acceptance and quick payment of works under the contract contract - the company of the suspect was engaged in the construction and improvement of the technical premises of the airport.

A criminal case has been opened against the entrepreneur. He faces a fine of a million rubles, a ban on holding senior positions or imprisonment for a term of three to seven years.

The head of the airport department was detained in June of this year. At that time it was known that he received more than 650 thousand rubles for assistance to several companies.

A criminal case is being investigated against him on charges of commercial bribery and abuse of power.
