Russian student prevents friend from attacking school
Schoolboy from Lipetsk prevented the attack of his former friend on students
A schoolboy from Lipetsk prevented his former friend from attacking students. This was reported in the regional office of the Investigative Committee.
The boys' friendship began in early childhood, but in 2021 they stopped communicating. Four years later, the students decided to renew their friendship.
One of the teenagers confessed to a friend that he tried to hurt himself, as well as to commit a massacre of other students. According to investigators, the boy for several years was interested in banned terrorist organizations and watched shocking content.
The schoolboy tried to dissuade a friend from committing a crime and advised him to seek psychological help. The situation changed after the suspect sent a photo showing a butterfly knife behind a classmate. During the correspondence, the teenager confirmed his intention to commit murder with this weapon.
The student then showed the photo to his mother and teacher. The teenager was reported to the police. The attack was prevented.
The suspect is awaiting trial while in jail. The teenager is accused of preparing a terrorist attack and links with a terrorist organization. Since the accused is a minor, the law provides for a more lenient sentence: a maximum sentence of ten years.
Before that, in Bashkiria, a teenager accidentally injured a peer from a traumatic pistol.
In St. Petersburg, a gang of teenagers was detained for kidnapping a 12-year-old schoolboy.
