Russian official detained for weaning pigs from the population

In the Tyumen region deal with fraud in the seizure of pigs from residents. Rudenko, who holds the position of chief specialist of the committee on the agro-industrial complex of the Berdyuzh district, is charged with fraud with the use of official status. Information was provided by the press service of the judicial system of the region.

The events occurred during the operation of the emergency regime in the Berdyuzha municipal district. It was introduced due to the elimination of the focus of a particularly dangerous animal disease. No later than October 16, 2026, in the village of Gagarina, the accused directly participated in the seizure and alienation of animals from the local population.

According to the court system, Rudenko was increasing the number of livestock held by residents, including his own mother. He sent false figures to the veterinary department and received income through compensation payments. Members of the commission then entered this false information in official acts on the seizure of animals.

The Department of Veterinary Medicine of the Tyumen region transferred the mother of an employee of the administration 331 713 rubles. Rudenko is under house arrest.
