Resident of Sevastopol fully paid a criminal fine after warning bailiffs about the possible replacement of punishment

A resident of Sevastopol fully paid a criminal fine after warning bailiffs about a possible replacement of punishment. This was reported in the press service of the GUFSSP of Russia for the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol.
As told in the Ministry, the man in a group of persons by prior conspiracy organized and conducted illegal gambling, for which he was convicted under part 2 of article 171.2 of the criminal code. The court appointed him 2 years of imprisonment probation and a fine of 100 thousand rubles, but to pay the convict was in no hurry, so the bailiff of the department in the Nakhimovsky district initiated enforcement proceedings.
Within its framework, the debtor’s bank accounts were arrested and temporarily restricted from traveling abroad, but this did not help. Then the bailiff went to the place of residence of the man and warned that he would apply to the court with a proposal to replace the fine with a stricter punishment associated with imprisonment. Realizing the seriousness of the situation, the debtor found the necessary amount as soon as possible and fully repaid the fine. The enforcement proceedings are completed with actual execution.
