The police Severodvinsk on the eve appealed 24-year-old local resident. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Arkhangelsk region.
The girl said that she planned to go with her friend to a humorous show. When buying a ticket, she faced fraud on the Internet and lost about 20 thousand rubles.
Police found out that in late September, the northerner met the young man through an online application. In the course of communication, the interlocutor offered to go to stand-up and sent a link in the messenger allegedly to a website for buying tickets.
Severodvinka switched to the specified portal, placed an order and transferred 2900 rubles, but email tickets did not arrive. On the site there was a notice of a technical failure and that payment did not pass.
A new friend advised to contact the technical support of the site. The girl was recommended to make a “mirror translation” for “withdrawal of suspended funds” and obtaining tickets. Following the instructions, the northerner did not receive tickets, and a new acquaintance stopped responding to messages.
The total amount of damage was about 20 thousand rubles. A criminal case has been opened on this fact.
