Walked by the side of the road outside the city. A mother of many children helped an unfamiliar child to return to the family

In the Smorgon ROVD honored mother Elena Bolzan – her act helped prevent the tragedy. The woman received a gratitude and a cash prize for civic responsibility and human participation. This was reported in the Department of Internal Affairs of the Grodno Regional Executive Committee.
On Mother’s Day, October 14, Elena called the line 102. Returning home from the city, two kilometers from the district center, she saw a little boy – as it later turned out, four-year-old Timur, who was walking alone towards suburban villages.
“I was driving with my daughter from the dance. On leaving the city, I saw a little boy by the side of the road. Stopped, turned on the emergency. And the child quickly moved on. I realized he was all alone. I was afraid for him, Elena recalls.
The woman spoke to the baby. Timur said that he was four years old and went to his father’s house, but did not know his parents’ address, surname or place of work.
Calling her husband and an ambulance, the woman called the police. And soon on the line “102” received a message from the mother of the lost child – she missed him in the shopping center in Smorgony.
