Storm wind rips roof off hostel in Russian region

In Kachkanar, Sverdlovsk region, a gust of wind tore off the roof of the dormitory of the mining and industrial college. This was reported by E1.RU eyewitnesses who sent to the editorial office a video with a damaged roof.

According to a local resident, the roof was made this season, and the hostel was preparing to move in for the new school year, but the work was not completed.

The wreckage of the roof as a result of the incident flew to the parking lot of the local shopping center.

The Emergencies Ministry in the region reported that there were no reports of damage to the roof to the emergency services.

In the college portal confirmed the fact of the incident, but noted that none of the staff and students were not injured, as the building was under major repairs and people were not in it.
