SK opened a criminal case after the collision of a barge and a boat on Teletskoye Lake
In the Altai Republic in the evening of October 14 in the waters of Teletskoye Lake near the village of Yaylu there was a collision of a barge and a boat. As a result of the incident, one person died. In fact, a criminal case has been opened.
According to the press service of the Eastern MUSUT IC of Russia, it was previously established that about 22 hours on October 14 in the water area of Teletskoye Lake near the village of Yailu there was a collision of a boat with a barge lifting device. They were moving towards each other without light signals.
As a result of the incident, the boatmaster died on the spot. The people on the barge were not injured.
Investigators and forensic investigators are working on the spot. On the fact of the incident, a criminal case was opened under Part 2 of Art. 263 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (violation of traffic safety rules and operation of inland water transport, resulting in the death of a person by negligence).
Other circumstances and causes of the incident are established.
