In the Ulyanovsk region, employees of the regional FSIN detained 19 people during the operational-preventive operation “Rosysk”. Among them were citizens who evaded punishment, as well as wanted by the police. To establish their location, law enforcement officers checked more than 200 addresses.
Most of the detainees — 12 people — were on the federal wanted list. Nine of them evaded the sentence of forced labor.
Two more citizens avoided supervision by the penitentiary inspectorate. One person did not arrive at the colony-settlement, although he had previously received a corresponding order.
In addition, the FSIN officers located and detained seven people who were wanted by units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.
Search activities were carried out in the territory of the Ulyanovsk region. The operatives checked the addresses at which the wanted citizens could be located and worked out information about their possible location.
The operation was attended by employees of the operational department of the regional department of the FSIN and units of subordinate correctional institutions.
The main objective of the event was to identify people who hide from the bodies of inquiry, investigation and court or evade the execution of the imposed punishment.
Such operations make it possible to locate wanted citizens and enforce court decisions. The regional FSIN notes that such work is carried out within the framework of the interaction of law enforcement agencies.
