Investigators find out the circumstances of the fire at the mattress factory in Ivanovo

In the Leninsky district of Ivanovo, on Kosyakov Street, a production building in which mattresses were produced caught fire. The fire occurred in the afternoon and caused serious damage to the premises of the enterprise.

Verification of the fire is conducted by the investigative department for the Leninsky district of the city of Ivanovo of the regional department of the Investigative Committee of Russia. Investigators and criminologists work at the scene: inspect the building, record the traces found, collect materials and interview possible witnesses.

Specialists will have to determine the cause of the fire and find out whether the company complied with safety requirements. Information about possible victims is still being clarified.

After completion of the inspection, the investigative authorities will make a procedural decision - to initiate a criminal case or refuse to initiate it. The proceedings are under the control of the regional management of the Investigative Committee of Russia.
