Deadly wounded man bear shot in the Russian region

In the Arkhangelsk region shot the bear, which to death tore 49-year-old man near the village of Pinega. This was reported in the regional administration.

The man died in the woods on October 18. His body was not found until two days later. The circumstances of the incident are now being investigated by the Investigative Committee.

The predator was liquidated on the morning of October 20. This was done by a hunter with the necessary license.

Experts estimated the age of the bear at about three to four years. The beast was large, and the length of its paw was 15 centimeters.

Earlier it was reported that the polar bear walked through Dixon at night. The predator is listed in the Red Book, so hunters did not have the right to shoot him, but only carefully take him away from their homes.
