Rescuers find body of second fisherman on Kama

In the Rybno-Slobodsky district of Tatarstan, a search operation lasting two weeks has been completed. Employees of ZPSO No. 5 found the body of a second fisherman who disappeared in early October. The dead 52-year-old man was found near Krasny Yar: the body was in thickets of reeds at a meter depth, only ten meters from the shore. There was no life jacket on the fisherman.

Recall that the tragedy occurred on October 9 in the area of the Gagarin camp. Then rescuers found only a semi-sinked boat with a motor. The body of the first participant of the fishing was found earlier at a depth of two meters. Now the search is officially closed, the remains handed over to law enforcement.

GIMS experts emphasize that neglect of personal protective equipment on the water often becomes fatal. Even in shallow water, thick thickets and underwater currents create a deadly trap from which it is almost impossible to get out without a life jacket.
