In Stavropol 22-year-old local resident lost through the fault of the fraudster 490 thousand rubles. The press service of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs said that a criminal case was initiated on this fact.

The victim told law enforcement that he received a call from a man who introduced himself as an employee of the municipal services center. The scammer informed the young man about the alleged large tax debt and offered to repay it by sending in one of the messengers details for payment.

And the applicant complied with his demands, and later it turned out that he had no debt. Then he went to the police.

Earlier it was reported that in Stavropol two former employees of the FSIN are accused of corruption.
