The Prosecutor’s office of Brest supported in court the state prosecution in the criminal case against four accused residents of Pinsk and Pinsky.

The prosecutor’s office of Brest supported in court the state prosecution in a criminal case against four accused residents of Pinsk and Pinsk district aged 55 to 63 years. They are charged with an attempt to seize by deceiving real estate of foreign citizens with a total value of more than $ 1 million, the Prosecutor General’s Office reported.

It was established that from 2021 to 2025 the defendants were part of a structural unit of an international criminal organization located in Belarus. One of them headed the unit.
To obtain the rights to real estate in Moscow, they tried to make an inheritance on forged documents. To do this, with the help of computer and copying equipment, fake stamps and seals were made. From unsuspecting people, they bought genuine forms of birth and marriage certificates, in which false information and signatures on behalf of other persons and civil servants were inkjet sealed. So they justified the right to inherit apartments in Moscow after the death of their owners.
In total, they tried to fraudulently seize real estate worth more than $ 1 million, but the plan was stopped by law enforcement officers.
The court of the Leninsky district of Brest, having studied the evidence of the state prosecutor, issued a guilty verdict. According to the totality of crimes, they were sentenced to imprisonment for a period of 6 to 9 years with fines from 250 to 600 base units (from 11.25 thousand to 27 thousand rubles).
The sentence has not yet entered into force and can be appealed on appeal.
