The court in Kazan gave sentences to four for the abduction of droppers
The Soviet district court of Kazan sentenced four local residents in the case of kidnapping, extortion and robbery

The Soviet district court of Kazan sentenced four local residents in the case of kidnapping, extortion and robbery. Danil Petrov, Ildar Zakirov, Igor Porfiriev and German Osipov were found guilty. Zakirov received eight years in prison, Porfiriev seven, Petrov six and a half, Osipov six. All will serve their sentences in a high-security colony. They have been in custody for more than a year, and this term was counted as punishment.
According to the investigation, the members of the group received information about where and when the droppers would cash fraudulent money, and then hunted for them. In April 2025, at the shopping center “Gorki” they attacked a young man, beat him, shot him several times with an aerosol gun and forcibly took him away in a rented Haval Jolion, demanding money. However, eyewitnesses reported to the police, and the car was soon stopped by the DPS crew.
In May 2025, another attack occurred in the parking lot near the Lenta store on Gabisheva Street. The caught teenager was taken to a wasteland, stripped and, threatening with a gun, demanded money. He gave 99 thousand rubles, after which he was released without clothes.
Lawyers have not yet given an unambiguous answer whether they will appeal the verdict, noting that the defense managed to withdraw the charge for several episodes.
