The Vakhitovsky District Court of Kazan has completed the consideration of the criminal case, the defendants of which were three men: Baimuhammet Agayev, Dzhemshit Gurbandurdyev and Nyyaz Ramatulla. They were accused of unlawful deprivation of human liberty and blackmail with the aim of extorting money, Tatar-inform reports.
The incident unfolded in the winter of 2025. A man came to Agayev for help, he wanted to achieve the return of a debt of 65 thousand rubles from a friend. Gurbandurdyev and Ramatullah were involved in the implementation of the plan. The victim was lured into a trap with the help of a fake message: on behalf of a certain girl, the victim was invited to ride a car. As soon as the gullible man went outside, the attackers beat, dragged from his own car and forcibly transplanted the attackers into the car.
The prisoner was taken to Daurskaya Street and locked up in one of the apartments, where they continued to knock out debt. Trying to solve the problem, the hostage contacted a friend with a request to borrow the necessary amount, but failed to borrow the money. Soon, police officers arrived at the address, who detained the extortionists and released the victim.
As a result, Gurbandurdyev and Ramatullah were sentenced to two years' suspended imprisonment each. The case against Agayev was closed due to the reconciliation of the parties.
