The southern district military court found guilty two residents of Kerch - a man born in 2000 and a woman born in 1999 - of preparing terrorist attacks, illegal trafficking in weapons of destruction and treason. This was reported in the press service of the FSB in the Crimea and Sevastopol.
It is established that the man was an agent of the Ukrainian special services. Together with his partner, he performed the task of curator. From the cache, the defendants seized weapons: two military electrodetonators, a plastic explosive substance based on hexogen of foreign production (C-4) weighing more than one kilogram, as well as a transmitter and receiver of a radio-controlled executive device.
According to the investigation, these components were intended for terrorist attacks by undermining the railway track in the Leninsky district of the Republic of Crimea and eliminating a serviceman of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. During the investigation, it was also established that the man set fire to a car with the symbol “Z”. This was the first assignment of the Ukrainian special services, which, according to investigators, demonstrated his readiness to carry out more radical assignments of the curators.
The investigation department of the FSB opened and investigated a criminal case. The court found the defendants guilty.
The man was sentenced to 25 years of imprisonment in a correctional colony of strict regime with serving the first five years in prison, as well as a fine of 500 thousand rubles. The woman is 17 years old in a general regime penal colony with a fine of 300 thousand rubles.
The sentence has not entered into legal force and can be appealed by the parties to the Military Court of Appeal.
Earlier it was reported that in October 2026, the Southern District Military Court in Rostov-on-Don sentenced members of the Ukrainian intelligence network, preparing terrorist attacks against the leadership of the Crimea. The six defendants received sentences ranging from 19 to 27 years in prison.
Two others got off on probation. Detainees seized explosive devices, weapons and special equipment. Chekists also opened the international supply channel of explosives from abroad, disguised as household electric stoves.
In August 2026, FSB officers detained two residents of Crimea, recruited by Ukrainian special services, who transmitted information about military facilities and laid caches with improvised explosive devices. During searches, they seized four IEDs with a total mass of foreign explosives of more than five kilograms.
