The Zarechensky District Court of Tula sentenced 30-year-old Diana Zmeikova to 8 years and 6 months in prison for causing grievous bodily harm that caused the death of a person by negligence

The Zarechensky District Court of Tula sentenced 30-year-old Diana Zmeikova to 8 years and 6 months in prison for causing grievous bodily harm that caused the death of a person by negligence. She will serve her sentence in a general regime correctional colony, the prosecutor's office of the region told MK in Tula.
As the court found, the conflict occurred on the night of May 28-29, 2026 in an apartment on Oktyabrskaya Street. The woman drank alcohol together with a 47-year-old roommate and acquaintances. After the guests left, she stabbed the man twice in the chest. This aggression turned out to be fatal - the victim died in the hospital from his wounds.
The verdict was made taking into account the position of the public prosecutor. Zmeikov was found guilty under Part 4 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
Recall that this is not the first such case in the region recently. For example, earlier "MK in Tula" wrote that the Tula Regional Court refused to commute the sentence of a woman who twice stabbed her roommate with a knife. In March 2025, during a quarrel after drinking alcohol, she wounded a man in the lower back, causing serious harm to his health. The next day, the conflict repeated: the woman hit her roommate in the chest, damaging the lung and heart.
