In Gelendzhik, work has begun to eliminate the consequences of the storm - first of all, put the beach areas in order. The elements hit the rest areas in the central part of the city most strongly: it is there that the main forces are now concentrated.

Users of the beach areas immediately began clearing, and the block of resorts on behalf of the authorities took over the coordination of cleaning throughout the municipality. If necessary, they are ready to provide additional assistance.

A separate situation has developed in the area of the beach sanatorium "Caucasus": there ran aground swimmer involved in the construction of "Gelendzhik Marina". Now experts are pumping water out of the vessel - after that it is planned to be towed towards the marina. According to the relevant services, there is no threat of pollution of the water area, said the mayor of Gelendzhik Alexei Bogodistov in the MAX messenger.
